Japanese characters expanded by computer were deconstructed using phonemes that do not exist in the traditional Japanese syllabary.
Humans tend to interpret even what they cannot understand—attempting to extract meaning from the incomprehensible. This work explores that instinct through the act of encountering unreadable characters and supplementing them with vocalizations like "ah" or "uh." By using machine-processed, distorted Japanese and overlaying it with non-existent phonemes, I created a narrative based on a "recalculated linguistic system." This story, made possible only through computation, expands the Japanese language—extending the emotions it can express and the symbolic meanings its words can hold. It represents a new narrative form spoken solely by machines.
